Maul Ruck was a minor label handled by Takeo Kikuchi, who had just moved to World. In 1986, under the production of Takeo Kikuchi, the multi-purpose commercial space TK Building opened in Nishi-Azabu. The office also moved to the Nishi-Azabu building. MAUL RUCK was launched as a casual line.

Its design and high-quality products made it a very popular brand at the time.
